Fashion Week + Shoe painting

Hiya! This would be my first post for November. I haven’t had any chance to make new illustrated artworks so my updates are a bit more about other things; just like this one. Last October, the second round of the 2009 Fashion week took place. Most of what Human showcased were those of our imported or “Must Haves”, and it was fortunate to have 2 of my designs included in the show. Here they are:

I wasn’t present during the show because it’s a weekend and I believe I should rest. Ha ha ha!

Moving on… Today, I made it a point to finally paint a pair of shoes. I’ve wanted to do this for such a long time but I haven’t really had a chance or time to do so. So here it is, my first ever attempt to paint on such material.

 I enjoyed it and realized I missed painting in general. Because of the good result, I’m planning to make more shoe paintings! Woohoo!!! It’s a good thing that I have the drive to be productive not only with work but with other things as well; especially with other things so to speak. I wanna do more! I wanna create more! I hope I have a chance to do that in the future.

Kiss the Radio

“Kiss the Radio” is inspired by my two favorite testosterone-filled Super Junior boys, Teukie and Eunhyuk. (LOL) I have always been a fan of the Eunteuk pair so I figured I could make an artwork inspired by them. I didn’t pay much attention on capturing their actual looks, rather, what they make me feel and how I see them. Teukie is my main shiz darlings! As I have mentioned to my close friends, he’s like everything I like in a boy rolled into one big emotional sushi! He’s also great in making you spaz because he’s such a tease! *enter hip thrusts and tongue movements* Eunhyuk on the other hand, is a bouncing ball of cuteness and a wicked dancing machine. His naivety on things makes him very lovable and appealing yet he can be sexy at the same time as well. I love Eunteuk! SARANGHAE!

Life’s Many Splendid Things

Have you ever took time to sit back and think of all the blessings you have? Of how fortunate you are for still being able to wake up to another morning sunshine. Today, I woke up feeling thankful for all the things I m blessed with. I want to share some here. Hai dozo!

1. Nature – I wish I was able to take photos of every beautiful place I had been to. Swear, photos don’t do justice to the actual thing. The gallery shows photos of Boracay, Zambales, Thailand, Cebu, Caleruaga and Bicol. Also, I’ve included photos of my favorite furry friends: Simon (RIP), Peanut and Simon’s cute pup!

2. Food – Of course, the good life can’t be lived without good food right? The photos I placed here are from Little Tokyo (Takoyaki), White Hat (Froyo), Cibo (Pasta/Sandwich), Amici (Pizza) and Nestle Creamery (Tiramisu Cup and Sundaes). The food looks delicious but it’s yummier when you re with the best company right?

3. Friends – Goodness, I can’t even start on how thankful I am to be blessed with such good friends. Crazy? Yes. Psychotic? Maybe. But heck, I can’t imagine living my life without them! I have shared so many experiences with them; both good and bad. Looking at the past and how it us now between us, I am quite certain that I have friends that are worth keeping. Addos, Peanutbitters, Redrum, Officemates, Tagteam, and HS Friends, thank you.

And of course…

4. Family- Where can we ever be without them? Need I say more?
